Liverpool Chester Liverpool Cycle Ride 
Sunday 8th July 2012

Once again Pennine Events are proud to present their longest running event, now in its 19th year! Join over 2800 riders in the only cycle event in the country to include nearly 3 miles underground and enjoy a fun-filled family day out raising money for our nominated event charity, Claire House Children’s Hospice. The biggest bike ride in Merseyside has listened to participants’ comments and is offering more than ever before to make your experience even more enjoyable! Will now feature 5 different distances, so there is plenty for everyone to choose from:

  • Wirral Circular – 25 miles
  • Liverpool to Chester – 25 miles
  • Chester to Liverpool – 25 miles
  • Liverpool - Chester - Liverpool – 50 miles
  • Challenge Ride – 90 miles

The generosity of cyclists at the 2011 Liverpool – Chester – Liverpool Bike Ride raised over £22,000 for Claire House Children’s Hospice. So, the challenge this year is to break the £40,000 barrier. For more information and to register visit the website

 

Manchester to Chester Cycle Ride
Sunday 29th July 2012, 8am - 10am

Organised Rides and Training

Sunday Leisure Rides

Cheshire Cycleway Rides is just one of a series of rides and events held year round by the local Cyclists Touring Club (CTC).  The Chester rides start from Christleton Pond on the first and third Sundays of the month (first only from November), and enjoy the quiet lanes of Cheshire, sometimes reaching North Wales.  Rides are at a leisurely pace, and include coffee and lunch stops.  Newcomers are always welcome to join, and if you cannot manage a full day, why not come as far as a coffee? Leisure Ride

Other groups also meet - there is the Two Mills group who meet every week at the Eureka Cafe at 10am, or for more challenging rides usually into North Wales the Mold Informals meet in Mold also on the first Sunday. For more information, visit our website or contact Sue on 07871 452680.

New 2011 - Family Cycle Rides 

Plans are afoot to hold a series of family based rides.  Meeting in Upton Library Car Park, Wealstone Lane, Upton, Chester, CH2 1HB at 1pm returning at 4pm.

The rides will be self led with support and advice if required.  There will be the opportunity to meet up again socially at the end of the ride.
